From the Dayton Business Journal, January 31, 2011:

"Miami Township will get nearly $380,000 in state funds to help demo and clean up remnants of a former NCR Corp. (NYSE: NCR) training facility.

The 43.5-acre property, located at 9391 Washington Church Road, is now being used by Dayton Christian School System for its corporate and administrative headquarters"

Wally,

I spent about 1 hour on the url you posted; places and faces of old colleagues, Instructors and students, woke up memories. I wonder if some of them ever read this forum, and where are they now.

Thanks for the link,

Emmanuel

Were you and I on the same 399 course at CTEC in Dayton in 1973 ?

For those of you who did training at Giessen, Germany, I have added a few photographs taken at the opening in 1965 to the ncr.org.uk website this evening.  http://www.ncr.org.uk/giessen.html

Hi Ian,
thanks for the pictures from ITEC Giessen, but the only one I can remember is Chief Instructor Scherf. About the other teachers I'm not sure, because my years were later. I was at ITEC Giessen in 1971, 1972 and 1973 for 446, 446 Special and 399. At CTEC Dayton I was from May until August 1974 for all 399 Peripherals including 656 and 399 Tele Communications.
Regards Wally.
