IRX documentation on file system

I'm looking for any documentation that would describe the internal structure of IRX directories, files and data types. Also anything that might describe the organization of backup tapes. Thanks.

I'm hoping to get similar info for ITX systems too. As I understand it, ITX was largely an outgrowth of IRX. (true?). Any info on ITX disk directories and files as well as backup tapes would be greatly appreciated.

I used to provide the hardware to Scripps Ranch for the IRX and ITX systems. I have sent your request to a friend of mine who worked at SR to see if he can help.

My friend is still looking, but apparently NCR threw away all of the IRX/ITX documentation. He thought your best bet might be to find an ex-IRX customer.

If you post some hex dumps of the tapes I may can help. I used that method to read some old century series of tape I had.
