A former NCR chief, Robert S. Oelman, passed away last Thursday at the age of 97. As Chairman of NCR, he managed the debut of the NCR Century Series in 1968 when in front of thousands of businessmen in the Madison Square Garden in New York City, he personally announced the release of the Century 100 computer; he run the Company until his retirement in 1974.
